Two bodies in an empty space. Between two characters, the fragile superstructure of a relationship is built. Often close, they overlap, carry one another, support each other with their hands and their feet. The instability of bodies reflects that of their emotions, which swing from laughter to fatigue, from euphoria to passivity. In this bodily exchange, the two acrobats don’t limit themselves to hand to hand, they add in Icarian games, a historical aerial technique in which the flyer is carried on the carrier’s feet as the carrier lies on the ground.
